The strangness that is an African Violet

African Violets are the strangest plants!! As a child I remember my mom being all careful with them saying they need to be under ultra violet light etc. Well I seem to be able to grow them anywhere. But this passed month has been really weird. I figured they would all die as I was unable to get to them to water them. Well, although three are looking a little wilted not one has died, Three have flowered continually and though dry as a bone, as I put them in the sink today (some I did last week) they are doing amazingly well. Oh and at least one of them has seen fit to grow a family. which means I am not only not throwing any out I need to transplant as they are shoving each other around. Yep African violets are strange plants
